How long have you worked at Varntige?
Since we opened the doors April 2015
Tell us a little background about you
Before starting Varntige in 2015 (previously The Good P.A) I worked in a variety of accounts and administration roles for 10 years, including being a PA to Financial Advisers, a Purchasing Assistant for Holcim, and a Claims Advisor in Christchurch during the 2011 earthquakes.
Tell us about your life outside of work
I spend some volunteer hours chairing the Te Awamutu Chamber of Commerce. Outside of that I spend my time with family and friends, in the kitchen, eating and cooking equally, lol. After receiving a kidney transplant towards the end of 2019 (super blessed) I’ve spent a lot of time at the gym, I want to be the healthiest version I can be. I also got my motorbike license in 2020 and have been zooming around on my Yamaha R3 (which I’m loving). I’ve set myself a goal to do one BIG out of comfort zone thing a year from now until death do us part. My partner Grant and I have a son Kameron who is heading into teenage years and we spend winter Saturdays at his soccer games.
What's an interesting fact about you?
I’ve never been out of NZ – crazy huh. Dialysis put a halt to travelling easily for me, got a kidney and along came Covid-19. But in all truth I’ve never had the travel bug. I’m a Kiwi who loves fresh farm air and can’t think of a better place to be than NZ.
