Sonja Milne is a VA & Bookkeeper

Rebecca Burgess is our Executive Bookkeeper
Rebecca's superpower is her vast and helpful knowledge in the Bookkeeping industry. With years of experience in her field - she is a pro!
"I have a Diploma in business and have been working in some shape or form in the bookkeeping and accounting industry since 2007, this has included work at accountancy firms and owning my own bookkeeping business. I also have a background in farming and agriculture."
Maddy Farrell is our Receptionist & VA
Maddy's superpower is her work ethic and attitude, she is passionate and ready to learn (and smash!) any new task headed her way.

Tangiwai Tai-Takiari is a Bookkeeper
Tangiwai's superpower is her passion for finance! With her Bachelor of Business Analysis Degree Majoring in Accounting, you are in safe hands.

Daryl-Lynn - General Manager
Daryl-Lynn's excellent communication skills and professional phone manner means she has great working relationships with all the client’s she works with. Her ability to slip into any admin role within multiple industries means she hits the ground running every time.
Daryl-Lynn is an all-round team player and good-sort, and a valuable member of the Varntige crew.

I have been with Varntige since October 2019.

I have been living in New Zealand since March 2019. And before moving here, I had never been on an aeroplane!
Leah White - Graphic Designer
Leah consistently receives feedback from our client’s on her excellent communication, and her ability to bring ideas and visions into reality.
Leah is an efficient creative, smashing deadlines and exceeding expectations, with her strength being her ability to effectively capture the essence of your business in your logo, branding or website design.

I started in July 2018.
What's an interesting fact about you?
I have one Kiwi daughter and one Australian daughter! Both born in Australia and with the same father, but unless you have an Australian citizen parent you have to apply for a NZ citizenship (our eldest was born belonging to no country - crazy Australian laws!). My partner got his dual citizenship before our second was born so she got to be an Aussie 😂
Sonja Milne - VA & Bookkeeper
Sonja has a warm and friendly personality that ensures she builds great working relationships with all the client’s she deals with.
Sonja has an eye for detail and makes sure everything is accurately recorded first time. Her strengths lie in her consistent and reliable work habits.

I started in November 2021.
What's an interesting fact about you?
I used to own a costume hire shop, making all of my own costumes. Travelled a lot overseas.
Maddy Farrell - Reception & VA
Maddy is the warm and friendly face of Varntige, the first person you see when you enter our office and the first voice on the phone when you call.
Being a people person, Maddy is a great fit for Virtual Assistant roles with her welcoming manner and great organisational skills. She uses initiative to ensure the most efficient processes are being followed to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.

I started on 28th March 2022.
What's an interesting fact about you?
I have travelled to Australia and been to a lot of different states there. I can’t wait to be able to travel Europe once Covid isn’t stopping the travel anymore.
Rebecca Burgess - Executive Bookkeeper
Rebecca is a wealth of knowledge in the accounting and bookkeeping space. She has the experience and skill to handle any problem thrown her way. With a proactive nature, Rebecca can help create process for your business then follow through, putting plans into motion.
Rebecca is comfortable with difficult bookkeeping issues, ensuring the job is done well the first time and to a high standard. She is a delight to work with.

What's an interesting fact about you?
When I first left school I did 2 years of a Sports Science Degree before completely changing direction to accounting/bookkeeping.
Ever heard the saying “sink or swim?”, Caroline swims! She is a fast learner who can take on new tasks - fast, giving her the ability to fit quickly into any workplace.
Caroline’s friendly and professional manner allow her to easily work in busy team environments, while also being extremely efficient on individual tasks.

What's an interesting fact about you?
I was the regional 100m and 200m sprint champion in the 1980’s.
Don't let Tangiwai's easy going nature fool you, she is a determined, hardworking bookkeeper with the knowledge to boot!
